We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Winter Garden, FL. This is an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a freestanding emergency department. Please see below for more information.
12-bed ED + 4 fast track beds
Urgent Care / Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)
22,000 annual patient visits
Job Responsibilities
Manage a broad range of emergency presentations across all acuity levels
Work within scheduled coverage model with no call required
Willingness to work at affiliated FSEDs required
Qualifications
Active Florida medical license required; IMLC accepted
ACLS, BLS, PALS required
ATLS required — must be current and active at time of submittal
Working Hours
Shifts per block: 5
Coverage: Scheduled; no call
Candidates must be located 50+ miles from facility
