Job description
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Orlando, FL. This is an ongoing opportunity at a freestanding emergency department fully integrated with a Level II Trauma Center. Please see below for more information.
11 private patient care beds
Affiliated with a Level II Trauma Center
EMR: TBD
Job Responsibilities
Manage a patient volume of approximately 77 patients per day (28,500 annually), averaging 2 patients per hour
Work alongside 24-hour physician and APP coverage
Scheduled shifts only — no call required
Coverage at affiliated freestanding emergency department locations may be required
Qualifications
Active Florida medical license required; IMLC accepted
Active ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required at time of submittal
Must be willing to cover affiliated freestanding emergency department locations
Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility
Working Hours
5 shifts per block
Scheduled coverage, no call
Ongoing engagement
