Job description Critical Care opening in Oklahoma - Tulsa, OK - Full time - Critical Care Intensivist About the Position * Provide overnight inpatient care for adult patients (16+) in a high-acuity hospital setting * Manage a daily census of approximately 10–12 patient encounters * Perform critical care procedures as part of routine responsibilities * Collaborate with a large, established hospitalist team and critical care APPs * Participate in rapid response and code teams * Engage in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents through academic affiliations * **Schedule & Practice Details** * 7 on / 7 off schedule * 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) * Approximately 182 shifts annually * Practice in a large tertiary care facility with multiple closed ICUs * **Practice Environment** * Employed position within a large physician group * Work alongside 100+ hospitalists with strong retention and team stability * Access to full subspecialty support in a Level I Trauma Center * Academic environment with affiliations to major medical schools * Utilize Epic EMR with integrated communication tools * **Qualifications** * MD or DO * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine * Experience in critical care preferred * Strong interest in inpatient medicine and team-based care * **Compensation & Benefits** * Competitive base salary with additional compensation for extra shifts * Up to $40,000 quality bonus * Sign-on/commencement bonus options * Relocation stipend * Comprehensive health and dental insurance * Life and disability insurance * 401(k) and 457(b) retirement plans * Paid CME * Professional liability coverage * **Practice Highlights** * Large, stable hospitalist program with high physician retention * Tenured staff with long-term experience * Broad regional patient population and referral base * Strong infrastructure supporting quality care and physician success * **Location & Lifestyle** * Mid-sized metropolitan area with affordable living and diverse housing options * Access to arts, dining, outdoor recreation, and cultural attractions * Strong regional economy with growing opportunities * Central location with access to surrounding states and communities
