We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Massena, New York. This role is based in a hospital Emergency Department and focuses on providing high-quality, acute care for adult and pediatric emergency cases in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Responsibilities
Provide emergency medical care for acute patients
Manage trauma, medical, and surgical emergencies in ED
Perform rapid assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Stabilize and manage critically ill patients
Coordinate with specialists for admissions and transfers
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
Qualifications
🏅 Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (or related specialty)
🩺 Strong experience in acute emergency care settings
💻 Prior experience with EPIC EMR preferred
📈 Ability to manage high-volume ED shifts independently
⚡ Comfortable working night shifts in fast-paced environments
🤝 Strong teamwork and communication skills in acute care settings
Working Hours
🌙 Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (8-hour coverage blocks)
📅 Scheduled shifts (no call responsibilities)
🏥 Primarily Emergency Department coverage
⚡ Holiday coverage may be required based on schedule rotation
🔄 Block scheduling structure (varies by assignment period)
