Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
Setting: Emergency Department
Schedule: 8-hour shifts; night coverage preferred
Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours/shift
Overtime: Applies after 12 hours
Volume: Approximately 110 ED patients per 24 hours
Department Size: 32 beds
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Clinical Details
Required Scope: Emergency medicine care in a Level III trauma setting; evaluation and treatment of adult emergency patients
Preferred Scope: High-volume ED experience and night shift availability

Requirements
BC/BE Emergency Medicine
ABEM/ABEOM certification
Active California license
ACLS
BLS
