• Shift Times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a (flexibility required for additional shift times)

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in emergency medicine (ED/ER experience preferred)
• MD or DO degree
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Ability to accommodate all listed shift times and per diem scheduling
• Commitment to timely chart completion (within 24 hours post-shift)
• Willingness to work across both hospital locations as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Department
• Respond promptly to emergent situations and perform necessary interventions as an ER physician
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, specialists, hospitalists) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Complete all charting and documentation within 24 hours of each shift
• Maintain communication with hospital staff and check UPMC emails after each shift
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work at both designated locations
