Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in hand
• MD or DO degree
• At least 1 year of experience in emergency medicine (ER physician experience preferred)
• Clean record for temporary privileges
• Ability to interpret own X-rays overnight (radiograph interpretation skills)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in the Emergency Room/ER, delivering timely injury care and accurate diagnosis
• Assess a wide range of acuity levels, make rapid clinical decisions, and determine appropriate treatment plans
• Perform emergency procedures including resuscitation, intubation, ultrasound-guided IV access, laceration repair, cardiac pacing and defibrillation, pressor support, and management of sepsis/stroke/STEMI patients
• Collaborate closely with emergency staff, nursing teams, and consulting specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain physician wellness with manageable staffing ratios (generally less than two patients per hour) and team-based support
