Amergis Locum Tenens has a fantastic opportunity for an ER Physician (Non BC accepted) to pick up shifts in Northeastern Arkansas! Travel and lodging included.

Position:
- Specialty: Emergency Medicine
• Location: Paragould, Arkansas
• Setting: Emergency Department
• Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center
• Hospital Size: 125 beds
• ED Size: 13 beds
• Annual ED Volume: ~24,500 visits
• Coverage Model:
– Physician: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
– NP/PA: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM
– Physician: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Staffing: Physician-only coverage required for this need
• Start Date: End of May (days and nights needed)
• Duration: Ongoing coverage
• EMR: T-System
• Scope: Full-spectrum emergency medicine across all ages
Requirements:
- Active Arkansas MD license — required at time of presentation
• Active Arkansas DEA — required at time of presentation
• Medical Degree & Residency Certificate — required
• Board Certification not required
– If not BC: must show 2,500 ED hours within the past 5 years
• Certifications required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Trauma CME: 2 trauma CMEs every 3 years
• Case logs from the past 2 years — required
• CME from the past 2 years — required
• Immunization records including Hep B, TB test, and current flu shot
• Clean malpractice history
• Malpractice history for the past 5 years
• History of all prior hospital affiliations
• NPDB Self-Query (if requested by client)
• Color photo & Social Security card required for credentialing
• ER experience preferred
• ABEM not required
Compensation:
- Pay: Discussed by phone only
• Weekly paychecks
• Malpractice insurance covered 100%
