JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Paragould, AR
• Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: May 31, 2026 – Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
COVERAGE DATES
• Starting May 31, 2026
• Ongoing assignment
• Flexible scheduling; must be available for both day and night shifts
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatrics
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 24,500 annual ED visits
• Admissions: Yes
• Rounding: Included
• Phone Consults: Yes
• Case Mix: General Emergency Medicine
FACILITY INFORMATION
• No. of Beds in Department: 125 hospital beds; 13 ED beds
• Trauma Level: Level III
• EMR System: T-System
• Office Equipment Available: Standard ED equipment

• Emergency medicine evaluations and management

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Arkansas medical license required
• Board: Board Certification preferred; if not board certified, must have 2,500 ED hours in past 5 years
• DEA: Active Arkansas DEA required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS required
• Experience: Emergency medicine experience required
• Other Qualifications: Must meet full credentialing and documentation requirements including CME logs, malpractice history, immunization records, and affiliations
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide emergency medical care in a hospital setting
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute patient conditions
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
• Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and standards of care
