Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine

Summary: Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-notch emergency medical care in the vibrant community of Hot Springs, Arkansas. This facility is a Level 2 trauma center and a regional cardiac center, equipped to cater to patients from pediatric to elder age groups. We are seeking four locum physicians to serve our community for a duration of 12 months starting May 1st. Our emergency department thrives on teamwork, ensuring comprehensive support for our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency care to an average of 1.8 patients per hour.
• Perform critical procedures including reductions, cardioversions, moderate sedation, lacerations, chest tubes, intubations, and central lines.
• Assist fellow team members with complicated cases and share responsibilities in the department.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and dragon dictation for efficiency.
• Collaborate with various specialists including General Surgery, Neurology, and Cardiology.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Arkansas medical license.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Certification in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA necessary.
• Clean malpractice record.
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days required at presentation.
