Qualifications
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, DEA
• Clean malpractice history
• NPDB Self‑Query (within last 30 days)
• Meets all federal, state, and facility standards
At least 1 year EM experience preferred (3 years ideal)
Working Hours
Multiple openings with a variety of shift times to fit your preference:
• 6a–3p
• 8a–6p
• 10a–10p
• 2p–12a
• 6p–4a
• 10p–6a
Average: ~130 hours/month (approx. 32.5 hrs./week)
Schedule: Weekdays & Weekends

Skills
Proficiency in full‑scope Emergency Medicine across all acuity levels
Strong ability to perform emergency procedures: reductions, cardioversion, moderate sedation, laceration repair, chest tubes, intubations, central lines, trauma stabilization, EKG interpretation
Rapid diagnostic assessment and evidence‑based management of urgent and emergent conditions
Skilled in managing trauma presentations within a Level II Trauma Center environment
Critical Thinking & Decision‑Making
Ability to make fast, accurate clinical decisions under pressure
Strong triage judgment to prioritize high‑acuity patients in a busy ED
Ability to manage multiple critical patients simultaneously
Confidence in interpreting diagnostic tests quickly and accurately
Team Collaboration
Works seamlessly with attending physicians, APPs, RNs, techs, and specialty services
Strong communication skills to coordinate multidisciplinary care
Willingness to assist colleagues with complex cases in a high-volume environment
Commitment to fostering a supportive, team-based culture
Patient Care & Communication
Exceptional bedside manner with ability to calm, educate, and guide patients and families
Clear, concise communication during critical situations
Strong patient‑education skills regarding emergency conditions and treatments
Technical & Documentation Proficiency
Proficiency with EPIC and Dragon Dictation for streamlined charting
Comfortable using digital tools and technology to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Strong attention to detail in documentation for compliance, quality, and billing
Professionalism & Reliability
Maintains composure in high‑stress clinical situations
Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to varying shift demands
Strong ethical standards and commitment to high-quality patient care
Consistent adherence to federal, state, and facility regulations
Leadership & Autonomy
Ability to work independently when necessary while knowing when to escalate or collaborate
Confidence leading resuscitations, trauma activations, and complex clinical events
