TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to assist with upcoming Emergency Department coverage. This locum role offers flexible scheduling, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to work in a supportive community-based hospital setting.
New providers must be available for a brief orientation the day prior to their first scheduled shift. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialing is complete.

Position Details
Inpatient only – candidates must have Emergency Department inpatient experience within the last 12 months
Will accept:
ABEM-certified Emergency Medicine Physicians
IM/FM Physicians with Emergency Medicine experience and required certifications
Average ED volume: ~80 patients per day
Average admissions: ~11 per day
Total inpatient census: ~47 acute patients
Provider responsible for responding to codes
Specialty consultation available
Transfers supported by ground and air services
System-wide EMR: EPIC
No call responsibilities

Renovated 15-bed Emergency Department
New Minor Emergency (Fast Track) area operating 12 hours daily
Approximately 27,000 ED visits annuall
Primary Stroke Center designation
Offers general medical/surgical services and cancer infusion services
Requirements
Active and unrestricted North Carolina license with NC DEA
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) OR IM/FM with ED experience
Required certifications for IM/FM physicians (no exceptions):
ACLS, ATLS, PALS (AHA only)
Minimum of 12 months recent ED inpatient experience required
