Emergency Medicine Physician – Athens, OH

Seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician or Board Certified Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician with Emergency Medicine experience to support a busy emergency department.

Position Details

  • Setting: Emergency Department

  • Volume: ~28,000 annual visits

  • ED Size: 22 beds

  • Coverage: 24 hours/day physician coverage (12-hour shifts) + 36 hours/day APP support

  • EMR: Epic

  • Support: On-site administrative team; physician-led organization

Requirements

  • Board Certified in EM OR BC in FM/IM with ED experience

  • Minimum 12 months / 2,000 hours Emergency Medicine experience

  • Ohio license (in hand or in process)

  • DEA required prior to start

  • Recent NPDB self-query (within 30 days)

  • Clean malpractice and licensing history

  • No new graduates or visa candidates

Position is ongoing with potential for permanent placement, and candidates may be required to relocate locally.
