Shift & Staffing Model
Physician Shifts (11-hour shifts):
- 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Mid-Level Coverage:
- 3 × 10-hour shifts: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM, and 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Staffing Model: 2–4 EM providers on at the same time
Support Staff: Full ER support staff
Posting Details:
- EMR: Meditech
- Orientation & Credentialing
- Orientation: 1 day orientation + 1–2 days shadowing
- Emergency Privileges: Not available
- Case Logs: Required
- Emergency Department Details
ED Bays:
- 20 ED bays
- 12 Fast Track bays
- 3 high-security rooms
- Patients per Hour: 1.8–2.0
- Trauma Designation: No
- Fast Track / APP Triage: Yes
- Fast track used for triage
- Coverage: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Fast track open 8:00 AM – 2:00 AM)
- Providers on Site: 2–3 (overlapping shifts)
- ED Admission Rate: 12–16%
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- 2–3 years of Emergency Medicine experience
- Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Georgia medical license
- No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension
- Current or willing to obtain unrestricted DEA registration
Compensation:
- Regular Rate: $300/hour
- Overtime & Holiday Rate: $330/hour
- Travel & Lodging: Covered (if applicable)
