Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity | Houston, TX
Assignment Details
• Temporary privileges will be considered
Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP or 6/1/2026
• End Date: Ongoing Assignment
• Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts only
• Schedule: 6A–6P or 6P–6A
- Inpatient setting
• 11 bed Emergency Department
• Low acuity department
• Not a trauma, stroke, or cardiac center
• Limited EMS traffic
• Patient volume: approximately 4 to 5 patients per shift
• Patient population is young and generally healthy
• Standard ED nursing and support staff
• L and D located in hospital but separate from ED
• Pediatrician on site in ED during peak hours
- Low to mid acuity Emergency Medicine cases
• Standard ED procedures
- Board Certified Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine preferred
• Non EM boarded providers accepted if comfortable with GYN and pediatric patients
• Active Texas license required
• Temporary privileges will be considered
