Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible emergency medicine physician - client is able to consider family medicine or emergency medicine trained physicians

Ability to work PRN, part-time, or full-time locums

5 providers needed to cover a variety of shifts

Position Details:
-
Annual volume: 60,000 Emergency physicians begin shifts by assessing the current status of the department
-
Review patient charts, EMS arrivals, and pending labs or orders
-
Coordinate patient handoffs with incoming and outgoing providers
-
At times the ED operates at capacity, with patients in hallway beds or waiting room areas
-
Continuous patient evaluation and treatment
-
Coordinate consultations across specialties
-
Manage boarding and patient flow
-
Documentation and charting responsibilities
