• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible emergency medicine physician - client is able to consider family medicine or emergency medicine trained physicians

• Ability to work PRN, part-time, or full-time locums

• 5 providers needed to cover a variety of shifts

• Ongoing need

Schedule:

• Monday–Sunday shifts available

• 9p–7a

• 7a–5p

• 9a–6p

• 11a–9p

• 2p–12a

Position Details:

• Annual volume: 60,000 Emergency physicians begin shifts by assessing the current status of the department

• Review patient charts, EMS arrivals, and pending labs or orders

• Coordinate patient handoffs with incoming and outgoing providers

• At times the ED operates at capacity, with patients in hallway beds or waiting room areas

• Continuous patient evaluation and treatment

• Coordinate consultations across specialties

• Manage boarding and patient flow

• Documentation and charting responsibilities

Facility Details:

• Level II Trauma Center

• Usually 2 APPs per shift

• 1 APP overnight

• EMR: EPIC

• Airway assessment and stabilization
