Fast Track with 6 beds

Community hospital (non-trauma designated)
Scope of Work:
-
Emergency Medicine coverage
-
Evaluate, treat, and manage ED patients
-
Perform procedures within EM scope of practice
-
Supervise APP providers
-
Respond to floor codes
Schedule Options:
-
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12 hours)
-
2:00 PM – 11:00 PM (9 hours)
-
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12 hours)
Volume & Support:
-
Annual ED volume: ~26,000
-
Admission rate: ~10%
-
Transfers: <2%
-
Imaging available: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, bedside ultrasound
