Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency medicine (EM / ER physician experience preferred)
• MD or DO degree required
• Active and unrestricted medical license (state-appropriate PA licensing preferred)
• Ability to assess, stabilize, and treat a wide range of emergency and acute care cases
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient triage skills in a fast-paced ED environment

Responsibilities

• Assess and stabilize patients presenting with emergency conditions (airway, fractures, casting, surgical emergencies, ENT, orthopedic cases)
• Diagnose and treat acute medical and surgical emergencies in the Emergency Department
• Continuous patient evaluation, treatment, and documentation throughout the shift
• Consult and coordinate care across specialties and with on-call surgeons or specialists
• Manage patient flow, boarding, and department capacity to optimize ED throughput
• Accurate documentation and charting of patient encounters in the medical record
• Participate in patient handoff and clear communication with other providers and nursing staff
