- Support Staff Available: 36 Hours of Physician Coverage Daily; 17 Hours of NP/PA Coverage Daily

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Weekly OT After 168 Hours: Per Contract Terms
- Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Evaluation and management of high acuity emergency cases
- Trauma stabilization and emergency interventions
- Coordination with specialty services as clinically indicated
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Mississippi Medical License
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- DEA: Active Mississippi DEA Required
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS Required if Not ABEM Certified
- Experience: Minimum 2 Years Emergency Medicine Experience; Case Logs Required
- Other Qualifications: Must Have State License, Board Certification, and DEA in Hand at Time of Presentation
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a Level III Trauma Center
- Manage high acuity patient cases during nocturnist coverage
- Collaborate with NP/PA providers and multidisciplinary staff
- Document all encounters accurately within Epic EMR
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
