JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Texas Medical License
- Board: Board Certified in ABEM or ABOEM, or Board Eligible with ATLS and PALS
- DEA: Active DEA Certification
- Certifications: ATLS and PALS required if Board Eligible
- Experience: Emergency Department clinical experience required
- Other Qualifications: Must meet hospital credentialing standards
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Perform assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and procedures as clinically indicated
- Manage trauma and high-acuity cases in a Level III trauma center
- Collaborate with specialty services and hospital staff for patient disposition
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation within Cerner EMR
