Assignment duration: Three months

Seeking a board certified or board eligible Emergency Medicine physician (ABEM or AOBEM)
-
Physicians board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine will be considered if additional experience requirements are met
-
Freestanding emergency department setting
Schedule
-
Physician coverage: 24 hours daily
-
Average patient volume: approximately 1.3 patients per hour
-
Annual ED volume: approximately 11,000 visits
Clinical Details
-
State-of-the-art freestanding emergency department
-
12 private exam rooms
-
Designated trauma room
-
Manage a wide range of emergency medicine presentations in a lower-volume environment
Clinical Support and Diagnostics
-
Diagnostic imaging on-site (X-rays and CT scans, with and without contrast)
-
Laboratory services on-site
-
Ultrasound available on call 24/7 with a 30-minute response time
Requirements
-
Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) preferred
-
Physicians board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine must have:

Minimum of 6,000 hours of emergency room experience
-
Full-time ED work within the three years preceding application
-

Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
