Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
Active or eligible Texas medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or related specialty
Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Department clinical experience
Ability to manage high-acuity emergency presentations
Comfortable working independently in both hospital ED and free-standing ED settings
Preferred Qualifications
Prior locum tenens experience
Experience using MedHost EMR
Experience in Trauma Level III emergency departments
Working Hours
6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Skills
Trauma evaluation and resuscitation
Rapid clinical decision-making in high-pressure environments
Effective collaboration with APPs and hospital staff
Strong patient communication and documentation skills
