Job Title: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine

Join the dynamic team in Cambridge, Ohio, where we are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician. Our facility serves a vibrant community with an annual patient volume of approximately 24,500 to 25,500, averaging 55-60 patients daily. Our Emergency Department is equipped with 17 beds and operates with two physician shift options: 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM. We prioritize ongoing availability with a minimum commitment of 5+ shifts a month for a duration of at least 12 months, ensuring seamless care for our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient management.
• Handle a variety of emergency cases, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
• Document patient encounters using the EMR system (MediTech).
• Participate in the transfer process to appropriate facilities as needed.
• Take shifts during nights and weekends as per the schedule.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA IM/FM).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience.
• Strong ability to manage a high volume of patients effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Licenses and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Ohio State License (must possess or be eligible for an IMLC with proof of LOQ).
• Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Clean background with no exceptions.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
