Assignment Details Start date June 1, 2026 with ongoing coverage Scheduled clinical hours only, no call Night shift coverage required; day-only availability not considered Two providers requested Eight guaranteed hours per shift Clinical Details Inpatient emergency department setting Trauma level III Thirty-two emergency department beds Average volume approximately 110 patients per 24 hours Stroke-certified facility Admissions not required EMR system Epic Support services available including anesthesia, surgery, radiology, laboratory, and OR response Requirements Active California medical license required Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, BE within five years accepted ABEM or AOBEM accepted Minimum two years of recent hospital-based clinical experience Clean malpractice and background history Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed About the City Eureka, CA sits along Northern California’s scenic Redwood Coast, about 45 minutes from Arcata-Eureka Airport (ACV) with connections to San Francisco and Los Angeles.
