Locums | Emergency Medicine | No Call | Carmel, IN (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Strong specialty backup and full 24/7 support services
  • Multiple shift options (7–10 hour shifts)
  • High-volume department with APP support
  • Multiple providers needed (8 openings)
Assignment Details Start: ASAP Ongoing coverage No call Inpatient Emergency Department EMR: Cerner Licensed in Indiana or IMLC Shift Options Weekdays: 6a–2p (8 hr) 11a–6p (7 hr) 1p–10p (9 hr) 9p–6a (9 hr) Weekends: 6a–3p (9 hr) 1p–11p (10 hr) 9p–6a (9 hr) Clinical Details 23-bed Emergency Department 16–20 patients per shift Admissions required RN (2–3), 1–2 APPs, and support staff onsite Certified Stroke Center Full 24/7 specialty support including: - Anesthesia - Cardio-thoracic surgery - Cath lab - General surgery - Neurosurgery - Orthopedic surgery - Radiology - Vascular surgery No newborn deliveries in ED (L&D department onsite) Requirements ABEM certified (only ABEM accepted) Completed Emergency Medicine residency Board Certified or Board Eligible (per medical staff guidelines) Active Indiana license or IMLC Hospital privileges required No APP supervision required Compensation Facility accepting bids Malpractice provided Travel & lodging reimbursed
