Locum Emergency Medicine (MD/DO) – Mississippi Hospitals (Trauma Facilities)
Amergis Healthcare is seeking emergency medicine physicians to help cover two trauma designated hospitals in Mississippi. The facility is looking for doctors able to cover 5+ shifts a month on an ongoing basis through the year.
🩺 Hospital/Position Details
- Location: Meridian and Booneville, Mississippi
- Trauma Level: Trauma III and Trauma II levels respectively
- Start Date: May-June start expected
- Volume: 14k & 34k annual volume
- Schedule: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
- EMR system: Epic
📋 Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine. Will accept board eligible in emergency medicine ONLY
- Active MS state license & MS DEA
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience post-residency
- Strong communication and patient care skills
