Locum Emergency Medicine (MD/DO) – South Texas Micro Hospital
Amergis Healthcare is seeking emergency medicine physicians to help cover a South Texas micro hospital. The hospital is looking for doctors able to cover 6+ shifts a month on an ongoing basis through the year.
🩺 Hospital/Position Details
- Location: Weslaco, Texas
- Start Date: May-June start expected
- Volume: 24k annual volume
- Schedule: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- EMR system: Cerner
📋 Requirements
- Board Certified (ABEM/AOBEM) in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- Active TX state license & TX DEA
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience post-residency
- Strong communication and patient care skills
