A 50-bed Emergency Department in Hermitage, TN is seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician for ongoing coverage. This is an on-site role with flexible shift options, strong support staff, and a steady patient volume in a Level III Trauma Center.
Schedule & Coverage
- On-Site Coverage
- No Call Required
- Coverage includes weekends and nights
- Shift Options:
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- 2 Emergency Medicine physicians per shift
Facility Details
- Number of ED Beds: 50
- Level III Trauma Designation
- Annual Census: 128 (average daily volume)
- Patients Per Hour (PPH): 1.95
- Average Daily Admissions: 28
- Emergency Privileges/Temps Available: Yes
Support Staff
- 32 hours of APP coverage per day
- Fully staffed Emergency Department RNs
- Collaborative team-based care model
Common Case Types
- Chest Pain (C/P)
- Abdominal Pain
- Altered Mental Status (AMS)
- General emergency presentations across adult populations
Requirements
- ABEM Certified (Required)
- Active Tennessee medical license
- Ability to commit to minimum 3-month assignment
