Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician (ABEM/ABOEM) to join the region’s busiest Emergency Department in Elmira, New York. This opportunity offers a modern clinical environment, strong academic affiliation, and an excellent work-life balance in the Finger Lakes region.
Position Highlights:
Practice in a newly expanded, fully equipped Emergency Department including a dedicated behavioral health unit
Over 45,000 emergency department visits annually
Emergency angioplasty capability
24-hour in-house anesthesia availability
Double physician coverage model
Full-time resident coverage
Low physician-to-patient ratio
Premier on-site ancillary services
Affiliation with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine
Opportunities to teach within Emergency Medicine Residency and other GME programs
Ideal opportunity for candidates with an interest in academic medicine and teaching
Work Schedule
Approximately 14 ten-hour shifts per month
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM)
Eligible for New York medical licensure
Interest in teaching and collaborative team-based care preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
Highly competitive salary guarantee with incentives ($385,000)
