Coverage Needed
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- End Date: Ongoing
Clinical Details
- 24-hour Physician coverage and 24-hour APP coverage
- Annual patient visits: 28,500
- 11 private patient care beds
- Daily Volume: 77 patients per day
- Average 2.0 Patients Per Hour
- Dedicated trauma room
- Diagnostic imaging: CT scan, ultrasound, X-ray
- Ambulance bay for EMS access
- Patients needing admission will be transported to the main campus
- Fully integrated with main campus (Level 2 Trauma Center)
Requirements
- Certifications: ATLS, PALS, ACLS
- Flexibility in Schedule:
- Provider MUST be willing to work day AND night shifts
- Provider MUST be willing to work weekdays AND weekends
- Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered “Local”, and will not be eligible for this role
- Active FL license
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Board Certified or Board Prepared in one of the following:
- American Board of Emergency Medicine
- American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
