Join Our Team as an Emergency Medicine Physician in Arkansas
We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medicine physicians for short-term locum tenens coverage at a reputable acute care hospital with a Level III Trauma designation. This opportunity offers a dynamic environment with 12-hour shifts, providing critical care in a busy emergency department that operates 24/7. Ideal for licensed providers looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexible scheduling options.
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage emergency department cases
• Perform procedures within scope of emergency medicine
Qualifications
• Current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Active medical licensure in Arkansas
• Emergency medicine experience (less than 1 year accepted)
• Proficiency with PulseCheck / PICIS EMR system
Working Hours
• AM Coverage: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• PM Coverage: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Skills
• Willingness to work 10–14 shifts per month, including nights and days
• Able to obtain temporary privileges and licensure in Arkansas
