Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is seeking 2 Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens assignment starting April 1, 2026.
Position Highlights

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only

Shifts: 7a–7p and 7p–7a (Day & Night coverage needed – primarily nights)

EMR: Cerner

Practice Setting: Inpatient Emergency Department

Patients Per Shift: ~40
-
Beds in ED: 23
-
Trauma Level: III
-
Stroke Certified Facility
Support & Resources
-
5 RNs and 2 PA/NPs per shift
-
24-hour availability for:
-
Anesthesia
-
General Surgery
-
Radiology
-
Orthopedics
-
Neurosurgery
-
Vascular Surgery
-
Laboratory Services
-
-
L&D department onsite (newborn deliveries may present to ED)
Requirements
-
Active New Mexico Medical License (Required at time of submission)

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

Enrollment in NM Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) required- we can help with this!
