Description
Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for locum tenens coverage across three freestanding Emergency Room and Urgent Care sites in Indiana. This multi-site opportunity offers consistent 12-hour shifts with ongoing coverage needs beginning in September. Providers will work in a freestanding ED setting with urgent care volume and full physician coverage.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, treat, and manage ED and UC patients
• Perform procedures within EM scope of practice
• Collaborate with APC staff
• Provide day and night 12-hour coverage
Qualifications
• ACLS certification required
• Experience in freestanding ED and urgent care settings preferred
• EMR: EPIC
Working Hours
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Coverage Sunday–Saturday
• 20–25 shifts per month across all three sites
• Start: September
Skills
• Urgent care case management
• Procedural competency within EM scope
• Ability to work in MD + APC staffing model
• Efficient in moderate-volume settings
