An established, physician-led emergency medicine program is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician or EM-experienced Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to join a collaborative hospital-based team. This opportunity offers consistent physician coverage, strong APP support, and a manageable annual ED volume in a 20-bed emergency department.

The organization provides on-site administrative leadership and flexible employment models in a supportive practice environment. This is a full-time permanent opportunity requiring emergency medicine experience and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered acute care.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a 20-bed Emergency Department
• Manage approximately 21,000 annual patient visits
• Deliver care across a wide range of emergent and acute conditions
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and hospital-based teams
• Perform emergency procedures consistent with scope of practice and training
• Document patient encounters using Paragon EMR
• Maintain high standards of clinical quality, safety, and efficiency

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine OR Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
• Minimum of 12 months or 2,000 hours of Emergency Medicine experience (excluding training)
• Ohio medical license (in hand or in process)
• Clean malpractice and licensing history
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
• Not accepting new graduates
• Not accepting visa-dependent candidates

Working Hours

• Full-time permanent position
• 12-hour physician shifts
• 24 hours per day of physician coverage
• 14 hours per day of Advanced Practice Provider coverage
• Local residency may be required
