Locums – Fort Smith, Arkansas – Emergency Medicine (IMLC Accepted) Coverage Dates: 3/2/2026 – 6/30/2026 Shifts & Schedule:
- Various day and night shifts
- Shift lengths range from 8–12 hours
- Scheduling based on provider availability
- Looking to fill 30–35 shifts total
- Two full-time locums preferred (approximately 14 shifts per month each)
- Mid-Level shift coverage: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p
- Level III Trauma Center
- Certified Stroke Center
- 27 acute ED beds
- 6 Fast Track beds
- Strong partnership with 18 full-time integrated hospitalists
- EMR: Epic
- Facility will accept multiple providers
- Admissions required
- Trauma Level III
- Hospital Stroke Certified
- Approximately 2 patients per hour per shift
- Broad emergency medicine coverage
- Inpatient admissions required
- We don’t have full neurosurgery coverage so occasionally we ship neurosurgery, LVO, etc.
- Board Certified / Board Eligible
- Active Arkansas license required
- IMLC accepted
- ATLS required
- PALS required
