Emergency Medicine Physician – Locum Tenens Opportunity
We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens assignment at two high-performing emergency departments in Eau Claire, WI and Rice Lake, WI. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details
- Setting: Inpatient Emergency Medicine
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing (long-term need)
- Shifts Available:
Eau Claire – 3 physicians + 1 APC scheduled daily- 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- APC shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Rice Lake – 2 physicians + 1 APC scheduled daily
- 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- APC shift: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Shift Volume:
- Eau Claire & Rice Lake combined
- ~500 patients/month in winter
- ~625 patients/month in summer
- Shifts Per Provider: 5–10+ shifts per month ideal
- Call: No call responsibilities
- Orientation: Full orientation required prior to first shift (Mon–Fri)
Practice & Facility Information
- Work Environment: Inpatient only
- Support Staff: Multidisciplinary team, strong APC support
- EMR System: Cerner
- Telehealth: Not required
- Malpractice: Providers with current or pending malpractice claims will not be accepted
- Credentialing: Temp privileges available for candidates with a clean file
