  • Short-term supplemental coverage with defined dates and night shifts

Assignment Details Start Date: 2/3/2026 End Date: 3/27/2026 Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00p–7:00a Coverage Type: No call Practice Setting: Emergency department Open Dates: February 3; March 21, 22, 23, and 26 Clinical Details Shift Model: Standard solo emergency room coverage Patients Per Shift: Approximately 18–20 in a 12-hour shift Annual ED Volume: Approximately 32,000 Daily ED Volume: Approximately 90–100 patients ICU: Open ICU Team Structure: One physician with two mid-level providers providing split coverage Support Services Available: Anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedics, radiology EMR: Meditech 6.1 Requirements Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (BE within 3 years of residency) Active North Carolina medical license required NC Medicaid credentialing required PECOS enrollment required Ability to supervise advanced practice providers Comfortable with solo emergency department coverage Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
