We are actively seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Victoria, Texas. This is a high-acuity emergency department with strong specialty backup, consistent coverage needs, and a collaborative clinical environment.
This opportunity is ideal for Emergency Medicine–trained physicians as well as Family Medicine physicians with substantial Emergency Department experience.

• Emergency Department coverage
• 12-hour shifts
• Ongoing locums need with long-term potential
• Advanced Practice Provider coverage in place
• Level III Trauma Center
• EMR system in use

Clinical Environment
• ~35,000 annual ED volume
• ~338 hospital beds
• ~25 ED beds including fast track
• Chest pain center
• Providers expected to manage codes, intubations, and critical care cases
• Robust specialty backup including:
• OB
• Pediatrics
• Cardiology
• Orthopedics
• Radiology
• Pathology
• Urology
• Pulmonology
• Hospitalist services

Candidate Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• ABEM, AOBEM, or equivalent
• Family Medicine MDs will be considered if they have:
• Strong Emergency Department experience
• Active ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA required
• Current ACLS required
• ATLS & PALS required for FM-trained physicians practicing in the ED

• 12-hour shifts
• Minimum shift commitment required
• Ongoing coverage with potential for assignment extension
• Start date based on provider availability and credentialing
