We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Canton, Texas. This position offers consistent 12-hour shifts, a stable emergency department environment, and the opportunity for extended coverage.
This is an excellent opportunity for Emergency Medicine–trained physicians as well as Family Medicine physicians with strong Emergency Department experience.

• Emergency Department coverage
• 12-hour shifts
• Ongoing locums need with long-term potential
• Approximately 24 hours of MD coverage per day
• Supportive clinical environment with established workflows
• EMR system in place

Candidate Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
OR
• Family Medicine MDs will be considered if they have:
• Significant Emergency Medicine experience
• Active ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA required
• Current ACLS required
• ATLS & PALS required for FM-trained physicians practicing in the ED

• Emergency Department setting
• Mix of emergency medicine cases
• Collaborative staffing model with physician coverage
• No fast track or specialty coverage required beyond standard ED operations
• Support staff available on shift

Schedule & Assignment Details
• 12-hour shifts
• Minimum shift commitment required
• Ongoing coverage with potential for assignment extension
• Start date based on provider availability and credentialing timeline

• Standard credentialing process
• Credentialing timeline discussed upon submission
• Full support provided throughout onboarding
