We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in North Adams, Massachusetts. This position offers flexible shift options in a moderate-to-high volume Emergency Department within a Level III Trauma Center.
Compensation: $300 Per Hour
Facility Overview:
- Trauma Level: III
- Total Hospital Beds: 32
- Annual ED Volume: ~55,000 visits
- EMR: Meditech
Position Details:
- Shift Coverage Needed: Morning and night coverage
- Available
Shifts:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- On-Call Requirements: None
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a full spectrum of emergency conditions
- Collaborate with on-site staff and specialty services as needed
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active Massachusetts medical license
- ATLS certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
