We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage in North Adams, Massachusetts, with the opportunity to float between two nearby emergency departments. This is an excellent opportunity for local providers looking for flexible scheduling, strong APP support, and a well-run ED environment.

The greatest need is for morning and night shifts, with priority given to providers with the strongest availability and an active Massachusetts license.

Practice Setting

• Trauma Level: III

• ED Beds: 32

• Annual ED Volume: ~55,000 visits

• EMR: Meditech

• Shift Lengths Available: 8, 11, and 12 hours

• Admissions: Managed by hospitalist/admitting service

• APP Coverage: Yes

• Admission Rate: ~30%

• Code Responsibility: No

• On-Call Response Time: 30 minutes

• OB Patients: Sent directly to Labor & Delivery

• EMS/Radio Oversight: Yes
