Job Responsibilities
- Provide standard solo emergency room coverage
- Manage a daily patient volume of 90-100, with physicians typically seeing 18-20 patients per shift
- Utilize Meditech 6.1 EMR system
- Collaborate with mid-level providers for efficient patient care delivery
Qualifications
- Must be board certified
- Enrollment in NC Medicaid and PECOS required
- Experience with an open ICU preferred
Working Hours
- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Meditech 6.1
