Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians Needed in MI!

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physicians to join a locum PRN Float Pool supporting open emergency department shifts. Providers will cover 12-hour shifts in a growing ED with increasing patient volume and access to 24/7 core diagnostic services, with schedules distributed via email once accepted.

Dates / Schedule

• Coverage Type: PRN / Float Pool

• Shift Length: 12-hour shifts

  • Days: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Nights: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

• Scheduling: Open shifts emailed after provider acceptance

• Orientation Rate: 50% of hourly rate

Job Details & Responsibilities

• Practice Setting: Emergency Department

• Projected ED Volume:

  • ~15,000 annual visits

  • ~20 patients/day during first 6 months

  • ~40 patients/day by end of Year 1

• Clinical Resources:

  • Radiology: 24/7 CT and X-ray (no MRI)

  • Lab: 24/7 lab services (no blood bank)

  • Surgical services available at Lansing location

• Timekeeping: Reverse billing; providers must clock in/out using DocTime

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certified Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM only) (required)

  • Open to new graduates

• Active Michigan medical license (required)

• ATLS certification (proof from residency acceptable) (required)

• NPDB self-query dated within 30 days of presentation (required)

• Immunization & Health Clearance Requirements:

  • Hep B, MMR, Varicella (series or immune titer)

  • Influenza (current season)

  • COVID documentation

  • TB screening within 12 months

  • Tdap within the last 10 years
