Seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine physician to provide ongoing coverage into 2026
Job Responsibilities
Provide information on support staff, APP coverage, number of providers on the team: we have one full time Midlevel and 2 prns. we have 4 full time physicians and one prn
Average patient volume per day: 54
Current EHR in use: cerner
Trauma Level/Designation: provisional level 4
Is ED responsible for monitoring/supervising Paramedics/ambulance by radio: yes
Estimated credentialing timeframe * 90 days *
Submission Requirements
Board Certified in either EM or FP with ER experience (2+ years) - [REQUIRED]
Must have clean background for quick credentialing - [REQUIRED] no exceptions
DEA - Verbal Confirmation [REQUIRED]at Name Clear
MI License - [REQUIRED] at time of clear, no exceptions - not accepting IMLC
ATLS/PALS (for non EM boarded physicians) - [REQUIRED]
Copy of the NPDB, self-query requires at presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - [REQUIRED]
