Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with active Emergency Medicine certification.
- Valid state medical license in Michigan or eligibility to obtain one.
- Prior experience in emergency departments, with proficiency in managing acute trauma and urgent care scenarios.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and patients.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and supervise other healthcare providers when needed.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Cerner EHR system.
- Prior work in a fast-track emergency setting.
- Basic procedural skills, including airway management, suturing, and stabilization techniques.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience in an ER setting.
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and participate in interdisciplinary teamwork.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 03/01/2026.
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts at the rate of $7,488.00 per shift, with shifts paid at a daily rate of up to $9,600.
- Possession of or eligibility for state-specific licensure and hospital privileges.
- Competence in documenting using Cerner EHR, with clock-in/out via Doctime.
- Coverage of malpractice insurance included in rates.
- Orientation sessions compensated at half the hourly rate.
- No third-party lodging arrangements; travel and lodging expenses must adhere to company policies.
