Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Valid medical license in Michigan
  • Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
  • Proven experience in emergency department settings
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
  • Ability to adapt to high-pressure situations and capacity for multitasking

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with hospital-based radiology protocols (CT and X-ray)
  • Familiarity with 24/7 lab operations
  • Previous work in a float pool or PRN setting
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably DocTime

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience
  • Prior locum or PRN experience in hospital emergency departments

Other Requirements:
  • Must complete immunization requirements, including Hep B, MMR, Varicella (vaccine series or immune titer), Flu shot (seasonal), COVID-19 documentation, TB testing within 12 months, and TDAP (within the last 10 years)
  • Availability for varied 12-hour shifts (8AM–8PM or 8PM–8AM)
  • Reliable clock-in/out using DocTime (no timesheets)
  • Willingness to support ongoing coverage needs from March 1, 2026
  • Travel and lodging expenses are subject to company policies and are not including third-party bookings
