We are seeking Board Eligible or Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians for locums coverage at a free-standing Emergency Department and Urgent Care with a well-established national physician group in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

This is an excellent opportunity for physicians looking for consistent shifts, efficient workflows, and strong clinical support while a new center builds its permanent team.

Position Snapshot

Clinical Details
Patient Volume: ~2 patients/hour
Beds: 12 (ED / UC)
Admissions: ~5%
Transfers: 3–4 per day
EMR: Meditech Expanse



Requirements
• MD or DO
BE/BC Emergency Medicine
Must have recent ED experience (within past 2 years)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
• KY license preferred
(IMLC candidates considered)



Interview & Onboarding
Phone interview only (if questions)
Credentialing timeline: ~60–90 days
On-site orientation: 1 day

Job Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients of all acuity levels
• Perform medical evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Collaborate with nursing staff and ancillary services
• Document care accurately in the EMR
• Maintain compliance with clinical and hospital standards

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• BE/BC Emergency Medicine
• Recent ED experience (within past 2 years)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
• Kentucky license preferred (IMLC considered)

12-hour shifts | 7a–7p and 7p–7a
