Seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for locum coverage starting March 1, 2026. This role is part of a PRN float pool providing 12-hour shift coverage in a newly established emergency department. Providers will work in a growing facility with expanding patient volumes and full diagnostic support.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage variable patient volumes in a fast-growing emergency department
• Perform emergency medicine procedures as required
• Collaborate with ED staff and consulting services
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation using EMR
• Deliver high-quality, efficient emergency care
Qualifications
• Active Michigan Medical License (Required)
• ATLS certification (proof from residency required)
• Open to new graduates
• NPDB Self-Query (pulled within 30 days of presentation)
• Required occupational health immunizations and clearance
Working Hours
• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Night shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required
• No on-call requirements
• Start date: March 1, 2026
