Coverage Needed
- Start Date: 3/1/2026
- End Date: 12/31/2026
- Schedule: 24-hour shifts, including weekends
Clinical Details
- Patients per day: 30
- Support Staff: Full ED staff
- EMR: Cerner
- Number of beds: 20
- 70% of total admissions received from ED
- 1% of ED patients admitted to the hospital per day
- 1% of ED patients transferred per day
- Free standing facility
- Annual ER Volume: 9,000
- Fast track in ED: Yes, staffed by MD
- ED staff does not respond to house codes
- Hospitalist writes admission orders
Requirements
- Board Certified
- open to IM/FM with 2+ years of recent EM experience
- MI License
- BLS Certification
- Must be local (Will cover rental car/Lodging but no flights)
- Must have a clean background
- Copy of the NPDB self-query (should be pulled within 30 days)
