Seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for locum coverage through 2026. This role supports ongoing recruitment gaps and includes participation in a PRN float pool. Local providers only.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage adult and pediatric patients
• Perform core emergency procedures
• Coordinate consults and admissions
• Document care using Cerner EMR
Qualifications
• Active Michigan license (IMLC not accepted)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required (ATLS required for ABEM/AOBEM; FM/IM require both ATLS & PALS)
• Clean background and malpractice history
• NPDB self-query (within 30 days) required
• Must be local (no exceptions)
Working Hours
• Shift times: 6a–4p | 9a–9p | 2p–12a | 8p–6a
• Weekend coverage required
• Start: March 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
